Our Canadian guests left last Friday. The day before, our headmaster, Manuel Suárez, gave them our T-shirt for them to remember us in their school. It has been a real pleasure to have them here.

On Wednesday, the 14th of March, we visited Oviedo. Our main visit was to the Junta General del Principado, where its President, Pedro Sanjurjo, talked to us about Asturias. Here there are some photos
On the 25th of February, the Canadian students arrived in Asturias airport after a trip of almost 24 hours. Here you have some photos of the Asturian students who were really looking forward to meeting them again
Our headmaster met the six girls who have been to Canada in the exchange. Two of them, Carmen Castaño and Paula Cifuentes, were there in 2016 and the rest, María Díez, Silvia García, Lucía del Río y Beatriz García, in this school year. He talked to them about the experience and gave them a little present from the school.
Last Sunday, the 12th of November, they arrived happily at Asturias airport. Their parents were waiting for them with a big banner.
Diego Pangua and Elena Biaín were the other two chaperons who picked the students up in Edmonton airport and brought to Asturias. But they also did a job shadow with two other Canadian teachers in Red Deer. In this photo you can see the four of them.
Our students celebrated halloween in Edmonton. Here you have some photos with their Canadian hosts and with one of their Canadian teachers.
On Saturday, the 9th of September, we had a barbecue in the ATA building. After having some food, we had a debate about the differences between Canadian and Spanish cultures and how to get on well.
We also have time to visit Edmonton, the Legislature building, the first cable tram, the river, the Macdonald hotel, Roger’s place and its wide streets.
